The Pointe de la Fumée tour is a guided walk that retraces the site's military past, the rise of sea bathing in the Belle Époque and the central role played by oyster farming in the economic development of the Fouras peninsula.
Along the way, you'll walk along the beaches, discover the town's three harbours and cross the Pointe de la Fumée oyster-farming site - the embarkation point for the Ile d'Aix. Take a short break to take in the scenery and admire the superb panorama of the islands of Aix, Madame, Oléron and Ré.
Departure with a minimum of 6 adults.
From 05 July to 24 August 2025, departures :
- 10 am on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
- 11am on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
- 3pm, 4pm and 5pm every day except Saturday
From 1 September to 2 November :
- 3pm every day
- 4pm every day (in October only at weekends and holidays)
