At Trizay Abbey, children are introduced to the ancient craft of basketry through a fun and engaging workshop. Step by step, they learn how to handle willow and weave their own small bird feeder using simple traditional techniques.

Throughout this 2-hour session, children develop practical skills, creativity and patience while discovering the connection between natural materials and traditional crafts. Once completed, their bird feeder can be hung in a garden or on a balcony to welcome local birds.
