This workshop offers a true immersion into the world of medieval manuscripts, when monks carefully copied and decorated texts by hand in scriptoria. Participants experiment with the art of letterforms, composition, and the application of natural pigments in an inspiring heritage setting.
Guided by Sylvie Forcioli, they discover traditional tools, materials, and techniques used in calligraphy and illumination. This creative experience allows everyone to leave with a unique souvenir: a hand-crafted calligraphic bookmark made during the workshop.
